Add your building

Use the address lookup to find your building. This takes about 2 minutes. You’ll confirm the building type, number of units, and your role (freeholder, leaseholder, or managing agent).

Set your wayleave preferences

Define the terms that apply to all incoming wayleave requests for this building:
  • Processing fee — the fee operators pay when an agreement is signed (typical: £299)
  • Notice period — how much advance notice operators must give before starting works
  • Insurance minimums — minimum public liability and employers’ liability coverage
  • Access hours — when operators are permitted to carry out installations
  • Grantor — who is named on the agreement (you or your management company)

Wait for requests

When an operator submits a wayleave request for your building, you’ll be notified by email. You can review the request, the AI-powered RAMS assessment, and the proposed terms — all from your dashboard.

Review, approve, and sign

Review the operator’s request and RAMS summary. What each part of a request tells you covers this step in detail. If everything meets your building’s preferences, approve the terms. Wayline generates the agreement, both parties sign digitally, and the processing fee is collected automatically.

Receive your payment

Your share of the processing fee (80%) is deposited directly to your bank account via Stripe. For a typical £299 fee, you receive £239.20.

What happens next?

Once your building is on Wayline, operators can find it and submit requests. Each request follows the same structured process — RAMS review, terms negotiation, agreement generation, and digital signing. Agreements are tracked for their full term (typically 5 years). Wayline prompts renewal before agreements expire.
